Systematic treatment of morphological fruit types in plants of the class Liliopsida of the flora of Ukraine

In this review, the scope of morphological diversity fruits within class Liliopsida belonging to flora Ukraine compared world was analyzed. For first time, taxonomic monocot plants analyzed, which includes 235 genera and about 1050 species, distribution fruit types in largest families revealed. It found that among flora, as also Ukrainian more than 70% generic species is taken up by Orchidaceae, Poaceae, Cyperaceae having dry uniform fruits: inferior capsule (Orchidaceae) one-seeded enveloped (Poaceae Cyperaceae). An annotated list compiled for all 38 natural cultural Ukraine. Among 12 subclass Alismatidae, apocarpous polymerous or trimerous fruits, mostly with fruitlets, occur six (Alismataceae, Butomaceae, Potamogetonaceae, Ruppiaceae, Scheuchzeriaceae, Zannichelliaceae). 16 Liliidae, capsules are most common (Agapanthaceae, Agavaceae, Alliaceae, Amaryllidaceae, Asphodelaceae, Colchicaceae, Hemerocallidacae, Hyacinthaceae, Iridaceae, Liliасеае, Melanthiaceae, Orchidaceae), while berry-like occurs members single genus (Asparagaceae, Ruscaceae, Dioscoreaceae, Melanthiaceae (Paris), Liliасеае (Streptopus), Smilacaceae). 10 Commelinidae, four superior (Cyperaceae, Sparganiaceae, Typhaceae), another have (Cannaceae, Commelinaceae, Juncaceae, Pontederiaceae). general, typical on familial taxonomical level (17 families), berries families, aggregate represented each seven rarest type schizocarp (Juncaginaceae). No monomerous follicles, poricide operculate capsules, winged loments were found. The controversial two groups both them problem gynoecium type. These (Аrасеае (Lemna), Cyperaceae, Hydrocharitaceae (Najas), Typhaceae, Zosteraceae) initial carpel fusion (Hydrocharitaceae (Stratiotes), Juncaginaceae, (Veratrum), Tofieldiaceae). As a result our work, key relevant areas carpological studies defined, particularly, unifying terminology, examination anatomical structure pericarp, revealing evolutionary ecological aspects morphology.
